Today I’m up on 49 and Market blog with a new layout featuring the Captured Adventures collection. I chose a photo of my father with his classmate.
First I primed the background with clear gesso. Next, I add a design with a stencil and a teal ink. Unfortunately, this design is no more visible.
I added a second design with another of my stencils and paper texture paste.
While the paste was drying, I die cut a few leaves in a watercolor paper. I painted them with green and teal inks. I glued some laser cut elements under pebbles to create some embellishments.
I added papers from the 6×6 pad and the Laser Cut sheet under the photo and I started my composition with flowers and die cut leaves, some natural elements from my garden: bark and lichen.
When happy with the result, I added some colors with teal, brown and orange inks.
Next, I stamped randomly with different stamps from Captured Adventures set 2 and 1787 and I splattered black ink. I finished the layout with microbeads.
