Hello everyone,
For my second inspiration this June, I chose to create a fun and dynamic layout with the «SPECTRUM SHERBET» collection and a photo of my granddaughter with her mother taken last summer. I was very influenced by the colours. I used the “Splendored” paper from the Spectrum Sherbet 12 X 12 Classics package. I completely fall for the drawings on the back of this paper.
I chose this photograph for the shades, totally in the colors of the paper. To start, I put two frames on the background of my layout of each color «Strawberry Lemonade and Tidal Wave Ephemera Bits». Then I inserted Ephemera Bits and cardboard to create a nice layer of overlay and allow me to drag several labels including the one with the «words». I also used «Essential Laser Cut Elements» from the same collection.
I added flowers, leaves, and butterflies in the same range, these new packs offer a beautiful choice of embellishment. As I like the volume I also included flowers «Garden Petals Salmon».
For more fantasy, I added «Wishing Bubbles and Baubles» by integrating them into the circles. In this way, they stand out well. I of course used “rub-on transfer” they are irresistible!
On the left side, I did the same. I chose the flowers «Garden Petals Sea Glass» To conclude with just a few drops of white gesso.
What a joy to be able to create with all these magnificent products.
