Hello dear Creative Friends!
The beautiful vibrant colors of the Spectrum Sherbet Collection are just perfect for this lovely photo of my sister’s grand-daughters. It gives a playful feel to the layout. I liked all the colorful hearts and created a wreath with rub-on leaves, hearts, and small ivory flowers. The torn notebook paper elements are repeated behind and in front of the focal point and I used the mini-index clips as accents. I used Spectrum Sherbet Solid Lime and Spectrum Sherbet Painted Foundations Rainbow as background.
I trimmed the Spectrum Sherbet Painted Foundations Rainbow sheet a little smaller and distressed the edges. And I used the stitch Washi tape all around the edges. To create the effect of a wreath, I used green rub-on leaves all around the green “painted circle and add chipboard hearts and small ivory flowers from the Royal Posy flower pack. I also added a few small Wishing Baubles randomly on the wreath.
The chipboard hearts are distressed, and so is all the Laser-cut Elements used to create the layered focal point.
I used the “Love This” flag sentiment from the Laser-cut Elements pack as the title of the layout and a chipboard and rub-on sentiment as secondary titles.
The photograph as the focal point is layered on rub-on transfers and pieces from the Laser-cut pack. I added run-on transfers on the torn notepaper pieces to create more interest. Some elements are raised with cardboard and foam tape. And to finish the layout off, I added three colored mini-index clips. And that is it!
