“To Love and Be Loved” by Amy Voorthuis

Goodmorning lovelies,

For today I have something totally different for you all, no pink or blue this time, but orange/yellow/shaffon red and a touch of green. I am very happy with this layout eventhough I am not such a fan of these colors but it totally fit my picture….! We got married on April 20th 2012 and it was a dark and cold day and on the picture I am cleaning the bridge for hubby to sit on. I still feel a little sad that they didn’t make enough time to make pictures. But it still was a day that I will never forget since I married my soulmate.

I used the backside of the cut out sheet as the base of my layout. I tore the lower part and added two other sheets underneath it to give it more demension. The I stamped Gabi’s Hibiscus Stamp Set {the script one} on the yellow sheet at the bottom and Gabi’s Crackle Texture Set randomly on my background sheet.

Then I added a new stencil designed by Gabrielle Pollacco “Mini She Said Yes” behind my picture on the upper part of my layout but also underneath the Dusty Attic “Luxury Scroll”! Finally I sprayed with a couple of Lindy’s Stamp Gang sprays and water on my background!

All the chipboard pieces are treated with gesso, ink and rust paste. The word “cherish” I embossed with white embossing ink. I added some amazing little elements that are available in the 49 and Market store. The flowers are all treated with sprays a little gesso and shimmer spray.

49 and Market products used: Flower Fairies Collection: Lost Postcard & Cut Out Sheet, Vintage Artistry: Specimen & Cut Out Sheet, Scents of Nature 6×6 paper pad, Saffron Blooms, Garden Vine Saffron, Vintage Shades Ecru Blossoms and Shimmer & Shine Ivory Jardin Secret, Floral Mixology Champagne & Mudslide.
