Love life by Christine David
Hi everyone! It’s my turn today to show you my first creation of July. I made a layout in summer colors, I mixed two collections, Vintage Artistry Butter and Blush.
I started with a layer of transparent gesso on all the papers. I made patterns with stencil and modeling paste on the background paper, then smudged and dripped with green Distress ink. Under the picture, I put 2 6×6 papers I have broken and torn to do a little more dimension. I found the background bland so I added pink rub-ons here and there, I love rub-ons, they make a page look better quickly.
Under the photo, I also put some ephemeras. And it’s gone to my favorite part, the bouquets of flowers. On this page I have used several kinds of flowers, Royal Posies Passion Pink, Royal Posies and Royal Spray Olive, Royal Posies and Majestic Bouquet Ivory and Sugar Posies Fluff.
In the bouquets, I added laser cut from the Butter and Blush collection. I also put 2 flowers and a resin transparent foliage that I colored with markers, plastic, and paper foliage, Wishing Bubbles, and a chipboard that I embossed with white embossing powder.
I finished my layout with three beautiful pink butterflies and lots of little white drops. I hope that I will have been able to inspire you.
