Hello, 49 and Market fans!
I hope that you’re enjoying the new year and started creating a lot with your 49&Market supplies. I was born in winter (my birthday was some days ago) and although I prefer the sunny summer, I truly believe that it’s in the windy and snowy days when it’s better to be doing some scrapbooking and creating layouts. So here I am, with a new project based on winter vibes, using a photo made by @lisaellipse and published by her on Instagram some time ago.
The very first thing I did was painting my chipboards with different tones of browns, blues, and greens. Afterward, I prepared the background by applying a coat of clear gesso on a page from Old School paper collection and gluing the paper over a 2mm cardboard. Once this was done, I mixed some crackle white paste with blue Magicals from Lindy’s and applied this paste onto the background through a stencil. Then, some stamping with brown color before I started layering.
I wanted the composition to be horizontal, as the photo keeps your attention from any part of the project. I didn’t mind to get so high with layers, but the composition reaches at least 1 1/2 inches! So behind the main structure, I glued lots of flowers and the previously inked chipboards, along with some laser cuts. To finish the project, I added art stones, sequins and blue beads, and some white color splashes.
And here is the step-by-step video:
