Do little things with lots of love

Hello dear friends

I am back today sharing my first post for March. February flew past so quickly and today I’d like to spend some time to share a little about the little things that makes me happy.  For this I purpose I chose to use the stunning new Captured Adventures range. I adore the slightly grungy feel of this collection and chose to  use this characteristic to create what I call a “No Flowers” layout.

I started off with minimal mixed media work in the background to  using stencils and modelling paste.

Next I popped out a couple of the new images from the brand new Captured Adventures l- Laser Cut Sheet and arranged them across my page.  I affixed them in layers using 3D foam. You will note that I cut some in half to stretch them and make the most of it.

I  filled some of the spaces between the shapes bu cutting small strips of the Cream Burlap Roll and off-cut lace strips. I cut one of the Archival Board Timeless pieces to provide additional texture in the area where my photo will be placed.

Once I was satisfied with the arrangement set a big eyelet through the end of one of the Laserct tags and threaded trough a long string  of the 5 ply Jute  cording and affixed it across my page. Last but not least I affixed my photo with a couple of word strips.

Thank you so much for visiting today. I really hope you enjoyed your time here today. If you are missing the flowers, don’t threat as I will be back tomorrow with lots of luscious goodness, but till then, have a fabulous day.
