Hi there dear 49 and Market fans!
We all love mini-albums, don’t we? I really love the 49 and Market Foundations Binder. I chose the Essentials collection for this project. It is a neutral pallet and any color photo will go with it. With Woman’s month still fresh in my memory I decided to make this album about myself. We as woman, wives and mothers seldom scrapbook ourselves as we always put family and others first. It is also important to capture memories about ourselves for our children and family to enjoy when we are not around anymore.
I went all out and used as many of the Vintage Artistry Collection as I could! The album took me a while but I am so happy with the end result!
The Binder Album has a generous number of inner pages: 6x Kraft pages, 3x Tab page dividers, plastic and a plastic pouch for addition nick-naks.
Before I decorated the front of the album, I painted it with clear Gesso and added a little turquoise ink, similar to the color on the front page. I decorated the front with tab frames, hessian, butterflies and foliage. Also, flowers, feathers, some art stones and glass glitter. This them is carried through the whole album. I added a stud screw and chain as a fastener to keep the album closed as the album is quite bulky. To adhere the transparent butterflies and foliage, I used “Glossy Accent”.
The photos are all behind frames, either tab frames or frames from the laser cut sheets. The tab- dividers is also painted with clear Gesso and splattered with Speckled Egg distress ink.
I covered the craft pages with paper from the paper pack. The edges are distressed and splattered with ink again. I added rub-on transfers randomly.
Some pages have no photos, only sentiments. I added ribbon to keep pages in place. And secrets tucked behind.
