Today I am with you to show you my latest creation. I took an old photo of my son in a merry-go-round with my hair blowing in the wind, I love this photo. I rarely do a layout with red but here I like it. I used a mix of items from lots of recent and older collections.
I will describe to you a little how I made this layout. I started with a layer of light gesso. Then I used a stencil with a mixture of two colors of Chalk Paste which I spread with a silicone brush. I made watercolor effect stains with a mixture of two kinds of greens (yes I mix colors very often, I am rarely satisfied with the original colors so I mix) Distress Oxide mixed with water. At the two opposite corners, I stamped the seam with the Crazy Stitching Stamp Set and Versamark which I then embossed with Embossing Glaze.
The background paper is a paper from the Vintage Artistry Natural collection. The red paper is a paper from the Winter Edge collection. I used several items in the Vintage Artistry Natural Nouveau Ephemera Stack, a stitched frame. As for the bouquets of flowers, as usual, I put a lot of flowers. I added dies-cuts from different collections, layered embellishments, I also cut foliage from a paper from the Vintage Artistry Natural collection. I stamped here and there with a few stamps and gray permanent ink. I painted the chipboard with the same Chalk paste mixture. I finished with white drops.
