Hello, 49 and Market fans!
We’re living strange days, with a virus around the world closing businesses and cities. But I believe that humans are strong enough to keep on creating, and love in every step of this path is always around (friends, family, partners, siblings…). I decided to create a layout with a non-usual style for me, “too much sweet” someone could say, as it is just purple, pink and white. It enhances the love of a couple in the middle of nothing and under the rain… but it also could be allegoric, I let you dream of whatever you like 🙂 This wonderful photo was made by Emre Yildirim (@studionecmi).
The very first thing I did was covering my chipboards with white embossing powders. Afterward, I prepared the background by applying a coat of clear gesso on a page from the new and wonderful Irrevocable Beauty collection. Love its colors, mostly green and purple! Then I glued the paper over a 2mm cardboard in order to make it more stable and work properly over it. Once this was done, I applied some crackle white paste onto the background through a stencil. Then, some stamping and splashes with purple color before I started layering.
As you know, most of my layouts are full with flowers. I love them all and it’s almost impossible for me to select just two or three… so this is one of those layouts, in which I used two packages and a half, plus paper flowers from the Laser Cuts elements. When the composition was done, I took some new collage stack papers and a stitched frame to work with them for matting the photo. I was totally crazy adding more and more layers, they are great!
Layered embellishments are also great to add a touch of texture to the projects. They photograph beautifully and add dimension to any composition. So I took some flowers and dots in the same colors to make the composition as I wanted. To finish the project, I added art stones and some white color splashes.
