“Life is an Adventure” – Layout by Veena Chowdhry

Hello Crafty People!

This is Veena here again with a new project. I have created a layout using the “Vintage Artistry Anywhere” collection. I have used a photo by @Jessica_Drossin which goes perfect with the beautiful flowers “Royal Spray – Passion Pink Paper Flowers”

I started by applying clear gesso on the “Vintage Artistry Anywhere – At the Core” paper from “Vintage Artistry Anywhere – 12 × 12 Collection”. Once dried, I picked 2 frames from the “Vintage Artistry Essentials – 3 × 4 File Frame Set“ and applied “Vintage Artistry Anywhere – Rub-on Transfers” on them. Then I adhered them to the photographs.

After that, I picked few elements from “Vintage Artistry Anywhere Ephemera Bits” and “Vintage Artistry Anywhere – 12 × 12 Collection Pack” to add them in the back of the photo and for the composition. I created 2 compositions around the globe print of the paper. I first started building the composition on the top right by stacking the ephemera bits and laser-cut elements. Then I created a flower cluster using “Royal Spray – Passion Pink Paper Flowers”, “Royal Spray – Ocean Jade Paper Flowers” and “Royal Posies – Ocean Jade Paper Flowers”.

Then I built the bottom composition by stacking the ephemera bits and laser-cut elements. I have created an extended composition using the cute travel bags, camera, and tag. I also added the beautiful elastic laser cut element, I really love these and they look so real. I added the flower cluster to the composition. Then I added “Vintage Artistry Anywhere Chipboard Stickers” to the project. I inserted leaves from ”Vintage Artistry Essentials – Foliage” which went perfectly with the composition.

Once the composition was done, I applied “Vintage Artistry Anywhere – Rub-on Transfers around the composition. I just love the rub-on they add such a beautiful texture to the base. In the end, I added pearls, art stones, and white gesso splatters.
