Hello Crafty Friends,
This is Veena with another inspiration on 49 and Market blog. Today, I would like to share the layout I have created using the “Vintage Artistry Essentials ” collection. I was inspired by the sentiment “Life In Pictures” and the fence laser cut element from this collection. I picked up a photo that perfectly went with these and I tried to create a scene of a girl playing in the garden. I have also created a process video for you.
I started by applying clear gesso on the “Vintage Artistry Essentials – Savor ” paper from “Vintage Artistry Essentials 12 × 12 Collection Pack” to prime it. While the gesso was drying, I prepped the background for the photo by layering “ Burlap Ribbon – Natural” and ephemera elements from “Vintage Artistry Essentials – Ephemera Bits”.
I then started building the composition by adhering to the photo and ephemera layer in the center of the page. I also added a frame and tags laser cut elements of “Vintage Artistry Essentials – 12 × 12 Collection Pack”. I wanted to add dimension to the project so instead of adding laser-cut Fence directly to the paper and photo. I glued beads together and added them at the back of the fence element before adhering them to the layout.
I then embossed fairy and bicycle chipboard with the snowflake tinsel embossing powder and painted a resin clock with pink metallic paint. I now started adding flowers and floral laser cuts to the composition. I have used “Enchanted Petals – Ballet Slipper” and “Royal Spray – Olive Paper Flowers” ??in my layout. I also added embossed chipboards and a resin clock in between the layers.
Once my main composition was ready, I applied “Vintage Artistry Essentials – Rub-On Transfers” around the composition. I prepped some fillers (chipboards and die cuts) using white and pink embossing powders and added them between the layers.
To finish the project, I added pearls, art stones, glass beads, and white gesso splatters.
I hope you will enjoy the video:
