Today I’m up on 49 and Market blog with a new layout featuring the mini-collection Old School and the Cotton Blooms.
First, I stamped randomly with the Rations and Flowery Tile stamps. Next, I mixed a blue pigment with a 3D gloss gel and I used the mix to add a design with a stencil. It was after I have applied the paste, that I realized I have forgotten to prime the background with clear gesso. While the paste was drying, I tainted a piece of cheese-cloth with brown ink. I waxed some resin elements with bronze and blue waxes.
To built my composition, I used a lot of elements from the Laser Cut Shapes Frame n°3 and the Country Blooms. I embossed the back of a few peebles with blue gold powder to add to the composition as well as a few black feathers to reminds the ravens of the photo. To finish the layout, I added some glass glitter.
