July Sketch Challenge with Soledad Jimenez

Hello,
Today I want to show you a very special layout where the protagonists are my mother and I was a child, I wanted to make a small tribute to the memory of her with some very important photographs for me.

I have done this project as inspiration for the July challenge,

I have used the Vintage Artistry Shore Triton’s Shell pages and the back of the cover that previously I have broken into three pieces.

I have made two montages in layers, I have used the Vintage Artistry Essentials Square File Frame Set to frame the photos and for the composition, the Ephemera Bits and the 6×8 laser cut from the same collection. For a more complete and beautiful assembly, I have added the Royal Posies – Marble Paper Flowers and the Royal Posies – Olive Paper Flowers.
Under each composition, forming uneven lines, I have used the Vintage Artistry Sage Washi Tape.

As you can see for a more complete finish I have added some Wishing Bubbles and Baubles – Sage and of course the rub-ons cannot be missing in my work, which in this case I have used the Vintage Artistry Essentials. As I define myself a lot with vintage projects, I have put a touch of Lacey Trim – White in different parts that I had previously stained with a distress to simulate antiquity.

As a final finish, I have added some mother-of-pearl perlite and a splash of green mixed media ink.

For me, it is one of the most emotional works that I hope you like and inspire you.
