Joy – Layout by Ezme Hartman

Hallo dear 49 and Market fans!
It is almost Christmas; I can’t believe how the time flies!
Preparing for Christmas has always make me reminisce past Christmases and special incidents that stood out. My daughter can get quite silly and I love this picture of her as she is getting up to her antics! I couldn’t resist another Christmas layout, please bear with me the next one will be a different theme. 
For this layout I mainly used the Vintage Artistry Noel collection but the green paper is from the Vintage Artistry Naturalist Collection.

I dulled the green of the background paper, Vintage Artistry Naturalist Meadow, with watered down white Gesso and also splattered with the white gesso randomly across the paper. Then I stenciled some stars with glitter paste. The red stars and doily are rub-ons from the Vintage Artistry Noel Rub-ons.

I layered pieces of Vintage Artistry Noel Aquifolium and Vintage Artistry Noel Euphorbia Garden behind the photo focal point and added more rub-ons to the pieces. The Essentials Hardware Epoxies photo turns add more interest.

The frames and the flowers are elements from the laser-cut sheets of the Vintage Artistry Noel. I also used a file from the Vintage Artistry Essentials 3×4 File Frame for the photo. By now you know I love small flowers and the small red flowers from Royal Posies Tomato Paper Flowers are perfect for this layout. The glass glitter and gold trim add a little sparkle, after all it is Christmas!

The focal point photo is behind a File Frame and raised with foam-tape. I used the word “JOY” as title for this layout, it is perfectly descriptive!
