Hello, 49 and Market fans! Thank you for visiting this blog post on my scrapbook page! I love fantasy photos, and that’s why sometimes I use them on my scrapbooks. They made me dream of new strange lands where everything can happen. And some time ago I found this beautiful dreamy photo on Instagram and asked the photographer and model to use it for this project. Thanks fotokapriz and Littleorangefox for letting me have it for this scrapbook!
To create this layout I firstly covered the paper surface with clear gesso to protect the page. I always glue this background paper over a 2mm cardboard: this gives stability to the project. So when this was done, I applied a coat of crackle texture paste over a stencil which image was similar to the background. When dried, I added some colour with Lindy’s Magicals in orange and blue (same colors as in the photo). Then some stamping here and there and some splashes with blue ink.
I set the background aside to dry and started to paint all the chipboards that were layered on my desk. Some in orange color, some others in Silver. And then, it was time for layering! I enjoy a lot using Vintage Remnants collection. It’s one of my favorites, as it lets me create new things with an old look. So I decided to mix industrial cogs with flowers and some laser cut sheets from the same paper collection.
When everything was on place and glued, I added some embellishments for a great looking finish: art stones, blue beads, microbeads, and my dear wishing bubbles (did I tell you that I love them??).
