Hello 49 and Market fans!

For this project, I used an altered embroidery hoop. My project features the new Vintage Artistry Collectors Edition Volume 2. Paper 3 was used. It is a perfect combination of pretty flowers and bright colors on this paper and I love the picture of my granddaughter on it.

Here is my project.

The matted photo is layered over pieces from the Vintage Artistry Lilac Ephemera stacks. The V/A Collectors Edition Volume 2 includes 4 beautiful 12×12 inch laser-cut elements sheets that are also included in both the left and right clusters. I also used die-cut pieces from the Curators Botanical Ephemera Bits.

I added two doily rub-ons and beads from the V/A Blush/Sage Rub-On Transfers and the words “You make me happy” from the Art Options Avesta Rub-On Transfers.

I used a variety of pretty blooms, laser cuts, and die cuts to create the flower clusters. The edges of the flowers were dry brushed with white gesso and acrylic paint.

The final touches to this layout included wishing bubbles and baubles also from the V/A Lilac and Butter 12×12 collection. I also added art stones and splatters with diluted white gesso.
