“My happy place” by Tina Ollett

Welcome and a huge hello.

Tina Ollett with you today to share”My happy place”…….. something I created with the gorgeous Sand and Sea collection that I just cannot finish with using. I have been admiring this particular piece of the collection for sometime now and of course both the A and B sides are equally delicious. So I used two pieces of this !

I also have used the matching 3D embellishments to help compliment my project page.

From this sheet I have used the bottle, bubbles, star shells and the blue and green seaweed. They are just the perfect addition to this paper collection. I can’t wait to use the remainder on another project.

I cut the lighthouse from my second piece of paper and layered it up with some of the seaweed as you can see below.

I simply adore the 3D bottle embellishment, so I made it stand out on the layout by adorning it with flowers, and seashells, Dress my craft Ice cubes and some very small art stones which you can see below. And also to highlight my photo a little more I wound some 49andMarket Jute cording and adhered to my chipboard frame.

Above you can see the background paper was prepped with some crackle texture pastes and coloured to compliment my page. I have used lots of Dusty Attic chipboards to help create this layout.

And from another view.

I added in some shells from my own collection also.

I just love the little flowers from the Mixology packs. They are my favourites to use and they are just too cute.

After my layout was adhered down I then did some splatterings of white ink and dry brushed my embellishments.

Well that is all from me today. I will be back again tomorrow with my second instalment for the month.

See you then hugs Tina xo
