Hello, 49 and Market fans!
It’s Antonia here sharing a new project! Maybe you love clocks as much as I do, so you will quickly understand why I decided to go for a rounded layout on this month’s project. I still had a Dusty Attic clock skeleton chipboard around and it is so beautiful that I wanted to bring it to life by adding the 49&Market wonderful Spectrum Sherbet collection. Although I’m not a big fan of using pinks on my layouts, sometimes I give it a try in order to do a different kind of layout. And I also assume that you want to see more rainbow colors on our projects!
I still had a beautiful photo of Inés and Eric on my desk. As it also has a very pink background, I decided to mat it with neutral colors. For this matter, I chose a mix of Curators and Naturalist bookplates papers, along with some laser cuts in pink and blue to match the photo. Some transfers helped in adding color to the “book” pages. Something I really like is to give volume to the book papers by making them curve and up with cardboard. I prepared all this while waiting for the texture paste to be dry on the clock surface.
When everything was ready, I glued the clock down onto a Sherbet collection paper in pink color and over a 2mm cardboard to create stability and a way to hold the clock on a wall. I arranged everything over the clock using some cardboard and added lots of pink flowers around. I also used some blue paper flowers I fuse cut before. To finish the layout, I added some baubles and bubbles, and art stones.
