Hello,
For this layout, I wanted to show how the different 49 and Market ranges work so well together. I have used papers from the Vintage Artistry Collectors Edition and Wedgewood range with embellishments from the new Vintage Artistry Essentials and Anywhere ranges, Wishing Bubbles, and a Sugar Posies flower – and everything works together perfectly.
The papers I have used are Paper 2 from the Vintage Artistry Collectors Edition which I have roughly cut down, distressed the edges, and stuck to a sheet of Vintage Artistry Wedgewood Sublime.
I have used the new Vintage Artistry Essentials 4×6 file frame set to create a layered frame effect around the photo of my two crazy corgis. I heart these new frames – they are amazing!
Before sticking down the photo and frames, I have used about 6 inches of the 12 inch sheet of the new Vintage Artistry Essentials Washi Tape, which I stuck down to create a layer behind the photo. This product allows you to create layers and interests without adding bulk to your layout.
In order to ensure that the various embellishments stand out from the patterned background paper, I painted on some glimmery bronze watercolour to the left and right of the photo. I then tucked a selection of leaves from the Vintage Artistry Essentials Foliage around the photo. To the right of the photo, I have created a cluster using items from the Vintage Artistry Essentials and Anywhere Ephemera Bits, a butterfly from the Vintage Artistry Essentials Foliage, a Blue Raspberry Sugar Posies flower and leaves and offcuts of the Paper 2 from the B side of the Vintage Artistry Collectors Edition from where I cut the page down at the start.
To the left of the photo, I placed three of the Wishing Bubbles – one big one and two of the small ones.
The title has been cut from Paper 4 from the Vintage Artistry Collectors Edition. The layout is finished with some gold texture paste applied through a cross stencil placed on an angle to make kisses. I also rubbed the gold texture paste around the outside edges of the layout and dripped some gold ink onto the background. I have tucked in some wrapped-up sewing threads under each side of the photo with the clusters of embellishments and added some little beads to the flower and mica flakes around the title and the Wishing Bubbles.
49 and Market products:
Thanks so much for joining me today.
I hope you have a chance for some creative play soon and can have a go at mixing up products from the different collections.
