Hello, 49 and Market fans! Antonia Moreno with you today sharing a new layout. Are you enjoying the summertime? Please don’t forget to spend some time creating a layout with your favourite 49 and Market products and show it to us!
This beautiful photo is from Daniella. She was having a great day outside in spring and I asked her mum to create a layout for them. I guess you remember my DT friends’ layouts, this from Lisa and this one from Julia. I’ve never created using purple flowers before, and they encouraged me to do it thanks to their inspiring projects.
So… having purple and white flowers from old and new releases and this wonderful photo, I started creating a different background from what’s usual on my works. A double layer background, with a faux open zipper. I also heat embossed with brilliant white embossing powders, and stamped here and there with green and purple ink. If you are wondering which collections I used, I’ll tell you that I picked one sheet from Serendipitous and one from Bold and Beautiful. A friend of mine recently said to me that 49 and Market papers are great, as they are perfect just as they are: no need to add anything to the background if you don’t feel like!
Time to create layers! I first layered my flowers under the photo and between background layers, creating a mat around it. Then I started to add branches and greens from the Serendipitous Laser Cuts, previously worked to give them texture. I do love to include greens and embellishments to enhance the work. I also had some spare laser cut shapes from the Bold and Beautiful collection and decided to add them to the project.
To finish the layout, I added some art stones, beads and dimensional Wishing Bubbles that matched perfectly with everything around.
