Hallo dear 49 and Market fans!
We have a cat called Smudge, with the most beautiful amber eyes. She loves playing in the garden and the “Vintage Artistry in the Leaves” collection was a perfect choice to scrapbook this beautiful photo of her. I love the rich autumn colors of this collection, it complements the color of her eyes, and of course I’m spoilt for choice when it comes to embellishments.
I created the back-ground with Vintage Artistry in the Leaves: Seasoned and Splendor, with Seasoned trimmed smaller so Splendor forms a frame. The edges are destressed with some small tears. I combined my favorite, the color Rub-on Transfers with the Vintage Artistry Foliage to create an interesting layered background.
The embellishments are all taken from the Vintage Artistry Leaves: Ephemera Bits pack. I created a small flower bouquet with mini flowers, Jute, and a Guiney Fowl feather.

I repeated the flower bouquet at the bottom of the photo, with a single flower this time and paper leaves.
I loved the small banting flags for this layout and layered them as part of the layout title. I raised them to create interest and focus to the photo focal point.
