Today I’m up on 49 and Market blog with a new video tutorial where I show you how to make this romantic layout.
I worked with the beautiful Vintage Artistry Lilac collection and with flowers from the Sugar series.
Basic process:
- Choose two papers from the VA Natural Ephemera Stack which I cut into strips and glue to the background.
- Add VA Lilac washi tape too and lace.
- Prime the background with clear gesso and white gesso to the paper strips to blend.
- Stamp randomly with the Springtime Harmony stamp.
- Add some text with a stencil and black gesso.
- Add a design with white crackle paste and a stencil.
- Color the flowers with Tea Pot Purple and Pop Rock Purple inks.
- Die-cut dome berries, leaves, branches, and flowers in a watercolor paper.
- Color the berries with Pop Rock Purple and Green with Envy Green inks.
- Color the leaves with Green with Envy Green and Avocado Aloha inks.
- Color the branches with Violaceous Violet.
- Choose some elements from the bonus laser cut to add to the composition
- When all the elements are glued with 3D Matte Gel, add mica flakes, sequins, and microbeads.
- To finish the layout, add the die-cut flowers colored with Tea Pot Purple and Violaceous Violet inks.
