Hello there friends, thanks for stopping by. Today I have a layout I created using the NEW “Blue Petals” paper from the “Scents of Nature” paper collection. Wow, I just adore this paper, the colour & the pattern too. It even has a little background stamping & splashes on it. All ready for you to go!
49 and Market Products Used…
Blue Petals paper from The Scents of Nature” collection
Shimmer & Shine Flowers in Melange
Garden Vine in Alabaster
Gabbi’s “Postcards from Paris” Stamp Set
Gabbi’s “Grunge Texture” Stamp Set
I actually used two sheets of this gorgeous paper. One sheet as the background & the other piece I fussy cut a little flower cluster from & popped it in underneath the photo.
Then I also used this paper to die cut a doiley out of from the reverse side, as it made a nice contrast to layer underneath the photos.
Next I also stamped a postcard on it as well as these rulers, which you can see above & beneath my photos. This way all the pieces were in the same tones. For the stamping I used the two stamp set I have listed above. 49 and Market has such a great range of stamps.
Here you can see the alabaster “Flower Vine” & I actually sprayed the blue flowers to get just the shade I wanted. They are a sort of canvas material & take the spray really well. Love those pearl centres.
I am particularly fond of the detail the 49 and Market vines have, with all these gorgeous tendrils, makes them look so life like.
I actually coloured all the vine leaves & the 2Crafty chipboard with some Distress Ink to match the leaves on the paper.
Well there you have it. I do hope you were just a little bit inspired to get yourself some of these gorgeous papers & flowers.
Back tomorrow with some more.
Cheers Di Garling
