Friends Forever - Foundation Album by Valeska Guimaraes

Valeska here with you with a new project to share.

I’ve loved making mini albums from scratch, but I confess I loved the practicality of using the Foundations 2″ portrait base.

For the decoration of the cover, spine, and back cover I used the Tranquility Colored Foundations 2 and 3 papers as a base and on top of the papers I used the papers from 6″x 8″ collection Pack from Vintage Artistry Tranquility collection. The size of the papers is perfect for the inside pages of the Foundation Album.

I sewed around the pages I used for the cover and distressed the edges. On the front of my cover, I made a shaker with the window cutout from Laser Cut. I glued acetate to the back of the window, added small pieces of chipboard to the sides, put pink sequins in the middle paper, and glued the window on top. I added flowers, butterflies, phrases from the Cluster kit and metal clip, and dots from the Ultimate Page Kit to my decoration. Finishing the decoration of the cover, I put the words “Friends Forever” from the Chipboard Words packet.

On the back cover, I made a small pocket at the bottom with Colored Foundation paper 3 and decorated it with elements from the Ephemera package.

The remaining pages were decorated with ephemera bits, laser cuts, elements from the cluster kit, Chipboard words, washi stickers roll, and a lot more. You can find everything on the list below.

I left spaces on all the pages to put the photos, some with chipboard frames and others with just elements to fit the photos. This collection is so beautiful and fits any kind of project, but if you want to make a special gift to a friend this is perfect!
