Hello,
Here is my interpretation of the February sketch, I hope many of you will participate. In any case, I love the idea of the challenge that allows us to leave his creative comfort.
To meet the challenge I used two identical photos. I often make pages with two identical photos, this has its charm!
I chose the Mellow paper from the Vintage Artistry Butter collection to match the choice of my photo. I applied a layer of clear gesso and added writing patterns using the “Pascale’s Rations Stamp Set” and then added a bit of ink as on the sketch. To accentuate the background, I also added patterns with the Butter & Lilac Rub-on Transfers. Before arranging my photos, I layered some papers from the Butter Ephemera Stacks.
I decided to frame only one photo with Natural Stitched Frames. After placing my two photos, I started to add Sky Wildflowers and Cobalt Country Blooms as well as elements from the Laser Cut Sheet included in the collection pack that include those lovely butterflies.
I also added Wishing Bubbles & Baubles Butter, they are just fantastic, some leaves of the Wedgewood Layered Embellishment Set. I like the touch of brilliance they bring to the page.
And finally, the title came also from the Wedgewood Layered Elements. I ended up applying a little white gesso on the flowers.
