Today I’m up on 49 and Market blog with a layout featuring the Captured Adventures collection. I chose again a photo of my paternal grandfather taken during WWII.
First I stamped randomly with a grey ink and the 1747 stamp. Next, I primed the background with clear gesso.
When done I added a design with a stencil and 3D gloss gel. While the gel was still wet, I sprinkled two embossing inks and heat set them.
I die cut some leaves in a watercolor paper. I colored them with different inks.
I splattered the background with a black ink and, I glued some black thread and sisal.
I cut some papers to add under the photo before gluing all the embellishments: a few flowers, some tickets from the Laser cuts sheet, a few metallic embellishments. I used some jute cording to attach the plate.
I finished the layout with more stamping with the Captured Adventures stamp set 2.
