Hello beautiful people,
Today I want to show you my second project of May for the blog, this time I wanted to get out of my comfort zone by making a composition without any type of photography. With this work, I wanted to represent spring, a very flowery spring full of beautiful butterflies.
Below I will detail the step-by-step of how I have done it.
I have used two pages, one at 30×30 and the other at 27×27 where I have glued the two chosen sheets of the Vintage Artistry Noel 12 × 12 Collection Pack, creating a pyramid.
On the 27×27 base, I have put clear gesso to protect the design.
I have created textures with a glass texture stencil and paste, once it’s dry I added vintage pigments and olive green creating shadows and contrasts.
As you can see, I have made two compositions, a main one in the upper part and a smaller one in the lower part, (once the work is finished I have realized that it can be rotated and put it with another perspective), I have put a silhouette of stars of dusty attic painted in white and holographic joining both compositions, which I have joined with the previous Vintage Artistry Essentials – Rub-On Transfers and Vintage Artistry Noel Rub-Ons.
In both compositions, I have added a cardboard base that will serve as a guide and that will give me volume where I will put Majestic Bouquet flowers – Tomato Paper, Flowers and Royal Spray – Olive Paper Flowers and Vintage Artistry Essentials – Foliage making a balanced composition.
Once the flowers with moon pearls, fairy dust, and pearls have been integrated, I have put a touch of vintage pigment on them.
To finish I added Vintage Artistry Essentials – Wishing Bubbles and Trinkets giving a finish with more details and a splash in white since I like the vintage effect it provides.
I have really enjoyed doing this project since it is a challenge that I have put to myself, but as always I have had no problems since they are very inspiring products.
