Escape – Memory Keeper Box by Veena Chowdhry

Hello Everyone!

This is Veena, today I am here to share the memory keeper box in the shape of a traveling bag that I have altered using the “Vintage Artistry Anywhere” collection. I love traveling and have collected a lot of souvenirs over the passage of time. I will be using this memory keeper to hold the same.

I started by cutting the “Vintage Artistry Anywhere – Quest” from the “Vintage Artistry Anywhere – 12×12 Collection Pack” and adhering to the box. After that, I selected few laser-cut elements, “Vintage Artistry Anywhere Ephemera Bits” elements, and stacked them onto the box. I also inserted a film strip chipboard from the “Vintage Artistry Anywhere Chipboard Stickers” under the ephemera layer.

On the focal postcard element, I adhered “Escape” sentiment and birds from the “Vintage Artistry Anywhere – Wishing Bubbles and Trinkets”. I also added a cute camera clip to it from “Vintage Artistry Essentials – Shaped Clips – Dark Greige“.

Then, I embossed the globe chipboard in blue shade and inserted it under the bottom left corner ephemera layer. After that, I started building flower composition by creating 2 flower clusters using “Royal Spray – Ocean Jade Paper Flowers” and “Royal Spray – Orchid Paper Flowers”. I added few die cuts under flower layers to add interest.

To add beautiful textures to the base paper, I used “Vintage Artistry Anywhere – Rub-on Transfers” and applied them around the composition. To finish the project, I added white gesso splatters, pearls, art stones and sequins.
