Today’s layout is created with the rustic warm tones of the Curators Meadow collection. I love the earthy tones and it goes perfectly with this photo of my daughter. Autumn colors are her favorite and she loves nature. I must say I find the images of forest animals and mushrooms adorable!
For the back-ground I used Wings and Things and the Curators Meadow Solid 3 paper to frame the layout. To add more interest to the paper, I added rub-on transfers from the Essential Defining Words set as well as strips of green “stitch” washi tape randomly across the page.
I created embellishment clusters with laser-cut elements, small flowers, sentiments, and Guiney Fowl feathers.
To balance the layout, I created a small embellishment cluster on the right-hand side, repeating the small flowers, Guiney Fowl feather, and sentiment.
Finally, I splashed randomly with gold water-color paint across the page to give it a rich finish.
