Hello dearest 49 and Market fans and friends. We are somewhere through the two thirds of the summer school holidays here in Slovenia and that means that we are slowly starting to shop and prepare for a new school year. I have three kids, who are going to 5th, 3rd and 2nd grade of elementary school this year (we have 9 grades in elementary school and then 4 years in the middle school and then college). So this year will be very very busy again, a lot of the things happening all the time and a lot of new things for my kiddos to learn. But… I still believe that one of the biggest things our kids need to learn parents can teach them. And in today’s world one of the things to teach them is to dream, to believe, to develop themselves into people that will never give up and knew no limits. So, this layout today is dedicated to them and will be hanging in their new room in which they will start their new school year. I hope it inspires them along the way and I hope it inspires you today too!
I used papers from the Old School Mini Collection for the background. I found and bought this inspiring photo on one of stock photo platforms. And I embellished it with gorgeous Laser Cut Shapes from the Old School Mini Collection. I added some gorgeous flowers from the Vintage Shades Collection – Cerise Cluster, and I also added lots of Tim Holtz metal embellishments, which coordinated perfectly with 49 and Market Old School Collection and also with the theme of my layout.
I added a bit of cardboard at the back of some laser cut pieces to elevate some elements and give the Layout more of a dimensional look. At the end I made some white splashes with heavily diluted white acrylic paint to give it more artistic and more “school” look. I decided to go without additional mixed media mediums and ingredients this time.

Thank you so much for stopping by this time and I hope I brought you some inspiration with my today’s project. I’ll be back with you soon again.
Enjoy your days!
