I’m crazy about cats, I have six and they are all boys !! For some time I wanted to make a very masculine layout with a photo of each one, from the oldest (Scar) to my baby boy (Boris).
I usually participate in a sketch challenge group, and this month they proposed a design with six photos and the pet theme, it was made for me and I loved it! I chose the Old School mini-collection for having more masculine and sober tones and patterns, I used the paper Off the Grid as a background, I placed three strips of paper School Days vertically, they were torn by hand.
I painted a shadow with gray watercolor paint on one side to give the impression of volume and perspective. Lasercut polaroid frames decorate all the photos that have been pasted on different layers with dimensional tape. Circles in transparent adhesive acrylic were coated with Ephemeras from the VA Sky Ephemera stack. I copied the drawings of the Always Together and In Between stamps set on the scanner and then printed on acetate, cut, and paste on and under the frames, leaving it a little bit loose, because this way you have the impression of another layer of elements.
I finished with gold and white acrylic paint splats and some amazing Wishing Bubbles. I hope I stop with my collection of cats, otherwise, it will become increasingly difficult to put them all together in a layout !!
