Cottage Life layout by Karola Witczak

Hello 49 and Market friends!

Karola here with my first inspiration for this month. First in this month – on the blog and also first project with Cottage Life collection! I have no words to describe how amazing is this brand new line of papers! For today I created a layout with photo of me, when I visited an open-air museum with very old cottage houses with all its atributes (old dishes etc.). Colors on this photo great fit the paper line, I was suprised how good it looks together.

As a background of my page, I chose Fresh Delivery paper. Added onto a strips of “B” side of Bicycle Ally and Rooster Row sheets. I wanted to use as much fussy cutting as I can, so chose beautiful elements: flowers, roosters, barn, wellingtons etc. I cut out these designs from Rooster Row and Cottage Cut Outs to create interesting layers and make cottage scene around my photo.

I used even title from the cover of 12×12 Cottage Life Collection Pack as my page title. I think it was a perfect choice for this one. 🙂 To match the cottage style, I used strips of corrugated cardboard. Also, added something you can find in one of the flower pack – a wooden sticks with a twine. Awesome embelishment!

Look at these tiny ladybirds! It’s small but so eye-catching detail you can add here and there. Not only to highlight red color but also just to add more interesting accents. You can easily cut out them from Cottage Cut Outs paper.

Besides of new, amazing paper collection I used also stunning brand new flowers! Oh, this release is truly huge and (as always) gorgeous! I used new packs of  Garden Seeds – Bluebell and Garden Seeds – Linen (similar to our previous Floral Mixology – a mix of small flowers in a few designs and sizes) and Cottage Blooms (Cantaloupe and Cotton – awesome pack of various sizes and shapes beautiful large paper flowers. Brand new Blossom Blends flowers packs totally stole my heart – inside the pack you can find stunning flowers but also a nice wooden sticks, a pieces of twine, stunning paper leaves and decorative floristic twigs etc. I bet you will love them as much as I love! For my today’s page I used Blossom Blends – Cotton.

Thank you for stoping by our blog today! Have a wonderful, creative weekend!
