Hello Sweeties,
Today I’m up on 49 and Market blog with a new layout featuring The Vintage Artistry collection. I chose a photo I’ve taken of the Clocktower in Chinon (Loire Valley, France).
As usual, I started to apply a thin layer of clear gesso to the background. Then I stamped here and there with the brick wall design from the Gabi Texture Stamp set.
Next, I added a design with a stencil and clear crackle paste. Before I applied the crackle paste through the stencil, I inked the stencil in order to add a subtle color to the design.
I die cut some leaves as well as gears. I colored the leaves with Twinkling H2Os and the flowers with Primary Elements.
I altered the gears with the Rust Effect pastes. To finish the effect I wanted, I dry brushed them with some metallic paint. I cut some butterflies from the Cut Out Sheet.
Before gluing all the embellishments I colored the background with different Twinkling H2Os.
To finish the layout, I added some micro beads.
