Hello dear friends,
Welcome back here on the blog. I hope that you have been well. So it’s nearly the end of October and Christmas decorations have started to fill the shelves in our stores. Can you believe it’s only 66 days till Christmas? My oh my it’s been such a crazy, long year and yet I struggle to believe that the festive season is almost upon us.
So on that note, I figured I’d start doing some Christmas cards and at least that way, I’m prepared in advance. I’m also mindful that the mail may take a little longer this year so now is a good time to start if you haven’t done so already.
Believe it or not but I actually paired 4 different paper collections to create these cards and if I’d tell you, I bet you’d struggle to guess at least 2 of them. Combining our beautiful new Vintage Artistry Noel Collection with Laser cuts from the Winter’s Edge Collection is obvious, but would you be able to tell that my largest card panel is from Vintage Artistry Lilac, whilst the front panel is from the Vintage Artistry Shore Collection?
As you will note I layered my laser cut images, 49 And Market lace trims as well as chipboard from Dusty Attic. You will also note that I created a small flower cluster for each card, using our stunning new paper roses. Last but not least I added a couple of 3DBalls from [email protected] to finish it off.
