Hello Crafty Friends,
This is Veena here on 49 and Market blog with another inspiration. I have created a layout using the gorgeous “Vintage Artistry Sky 12×12 Collection Pack”. Blue is one of my favorite colors and I really enjoyed making this layout with lots of layers as you can see in the pictures. The Laser cuts are just so beautiful and a must-have.
For the background, I started by cutting a strip from “Vintage Artistry Sky – Ambrosial” 12X12 paper and adhering it on “Vintage Artistry Sky – Admit One” 12 X 12 paper. I then applied clear gesso on the paper to prime the base. Once dried, I applied texture on the base and added color using Ocean Breeze Blue spray. I picked up few chipboards(“6×6 Archival Board – Treasure (White)” ) and embossed them with “Wowzers White” and “Don’t Scream Aquamarine” embossing powder.
I then selected a photo as my focal point and picked an ephemera element from “Vintage Artistry Sky Nouveau Ephemera Stack” to create a background for it. I adhered cardboard pieces at the back of it to add dimension and glued them on the paper.
Then, I started building the composition using ephemeras from “Vintage Artistry Sky Nouveau Ephemera Stack” and laser cuts from “Vintage Artistry Sky 12×12 Collection Pack”. I have created my main composition on the right side of the layout and created a smaller composition on the left to balance it. I also inserted the chipboards in between the ephemera and laser cut layers.
Then, I started building the flower composition with “Wildflowers – Ginger” and “Blossom Blends – Sea Breeze” flowers. I also added few butterflies from the laser cuts to my layout.
Next, I added “Vintage Artistry Sky / Navy Rub-On Transfers” to enhance the beauty of the layout. I adorned the layout using glitters, pearls, glass beads, and art stones. I added white embossed leaves die cuts and in the end, I added white gesso splatters.
Hope you like the layout, I have also made a video process for you.
