Hello Lovies!!!
Today I am bringing you a new layout created with the gorgeous new Vintage Artistry in Butter!! It is a mini collection that is a must-have. With 4 double-sided paper designs, 2 laser cut sheets and a bonus design in the back of the cover sheet, there is so much you can create.
I did some machine sewing around the edges of the paper, did some stenciling with modeling paste, then mounted it on a piece of 12×12 corrugated cardboard. I distressed the edges, tore out a piece on top and bottom of the layout, rolled the pieces back, and began the embellishing. This collection was perfect to scrap my granddaughter, as she is always a beautiful ray of sunshine.
I absolutely adore the Ephemera Stacks. There are 39 different mix and match pieces in the pack from big to small. I chose the smaller pieces to layer on this part of the layout and added a laser cut butterfly from the 12×12 collection. I tucked in some flowers and added some wispy string underneath.
I also layered and stacked the bigger pieces behind the photo. I did some machine stitching around some of the pieces to add more texture. I chose to use blue flowers for my accent color. It lends a great balance using the cool color with the sunny yellow. Tucking in the butterflies here and there lightens up the layout. I have a thing for butterflies, and 49 and Market makes sure to add them to so many of their collections.
