Celebration is an essential part of our lives, we celebrate in many ways and for different occasions … a birth, a union, the fulfillment of a dream, another year of life, in short, we want to unite our dearest friends and family to share our joy of living. I always give as gifts on these occasions handcrafts I make, a photo album, a picture frame, a beautiful card, or a decorated planner, but what I like to do most is a signature and message book, a personalized book that guests can register their wishes for happiness and good thoughts, something to be kept with love the photos or small memorabilia that can also be pasted on the pages.

I made this book for a dear friend who was fifty years old in the middle of the Covid 19 pandemic. She really wanted to have a beautiful party, but she can’t, so I thought about giving my friend a signature book so that all the people who would be invited to the celebration could participate in some way, the book circulates among the people who will post greetings and messages for her, a form of affection!

I thought of something very soft, so I immediately came up with the idea of ​​using the Vintage Artistry Sky collection with its beautiful shades of blue, I wanted something very feminine and elegant. The box that holds the book was decorated with the papers and accessories from this collection, several layers of paper and many paper flowers highlight the central shaker box that holds the birthday monogram. Many layers of elements in this composition were finished with brushstrokes of watercolor paint blue on paper and flowers. Stamps in brown color also decorate the edges of the papers.
