Hello Creative Friends and welcome back to the 49 and Market Blog.
Today I am using some of my leftover bits and pieces from previous projects to show you how easy it is to create a layout.
Maybe when you create projects you keep some of your larger leftover pieces for future projects. I do not keep all of them, just the larger bits.
And, that is exactly what I did and how this layout came together.
Using a black and white photo I decided to layer my pieces and lightly inking the edges, using foam tape in between each layer to add more dimension.
Most of these pieces are from the Curators Botanical Collection, some laser cuts from the Meadow Collection, and that green piece which I used a large die on to get that stitching, is from the Naturalist Collection. And this is a great way to use those leftover pieces you have been hanging onto for “something” because I know, I do the same, I think a lot of crafters do.
Below, is my finished layout, I decided to add some softer tone florals. So don’t be afraid to use up those pieces of paper you have been hanging onto, they might just boost you to add them to your next layout
