I am again using the Curators Botanical collection for this project of my niece on her visit to the farm. She loved being able to pat and interact with the smaller farm animals. I thought the fence laser cut elements from the collection were perfect for the theme of the layout so they were my jump-off point for deciding what to do.

I started with the B side of Curators Botanical Garden Clippings paper – cutting it down to 12 inches while retaining the salvage strip. I then used various frames and tabs from the Curators Botanical Laser Cut Elements to place behind my photo and to frame the photo with. The tab pieces give me somewhere to add name and date above the photo.

I decided to use the fence piece with the flowers from the Botanical Laser Cut Elements below the photo so that the flowers could overlap the bottom edge of the frames. The other fence piece I cut down and used it to ground the embellishment cluster in the top right corner.

Once I decided where I was going to put the main elements of the photo with the fence below, I stuck them down, using foam behind the photo to give it dimension. I added a strip of a torn notebook from the Curators Essential Laser Cut Elements at the top of the photo for a finishing touch. I then began work on my embellishment clusters.

I created a large cluster down the left side of the photo, using a combination of Majestic Bouquet Marble, Royal Posies Ivory and Ocean Jade, and Royal Spray Ivory paper flowers. I also added in laser-cut stamps, flowers, and a butterfly. Once I decided where these would sit (I always arrange my flowers first before sticking them down) I added some rub-on flowers, coffee stain, and script from the 6×8 Botanical Rub-on Transfer Set. I then used more of the stamps and smaller flowers to create a small cluster on the bottom right of the photo.

The cluster at the top right corner was made using the laser cut fence piece, more stamps, a butterfly, and some of the laser cut flowers along with more of the same paper flowers. Again, once I knew where it was going to sit, I added some rub-on flowers and coffee stains before sticking it all down.
The small cluster at the bottom right of the page on the salvage strip includes a label and a small butterfly from the laser cut elements, with a coffee stain and some script rub-ons. The stitched effect is done with the Curators Essential Washi Tape Stitch Set. The final touch is the title attached with foam tape along the fence under the photo.
