Hello, 49 and Market fans!
Antonia with you today sharing a new layout. Although I do love pink flowers, I haven’t worked with that color for a while. Nevertheless, you know that I get inspired by photos and when I saw this one (made by @miriamoscaphotography) my mind blown up. A mix of pink and green was perfect to start working with those colors again.
I could have gone straight to the Blush collection (please, don’t miss it!!), but this photo was asking for a vintage background, and this paper from the Remnants collection pack was perfect, as it has a pink shade on it. So this said, I took all elements from my stash and started working.
Firstly, I glued the background paper down onto a 2mm cardboard to make it more stable. Afterwards, I used some rub-on transfers to add texture and texts. Once this was done, I started to work on the composition. As you know, my focus point is always the photo, so I tried to work around it, for which I’ve used lots of pink flowers and some laser cuts from the Remnants collection. I also added different kinds of leaves: some paper ones and some from 3D layered embellishments (I even cut them to fit my composition needs).
When everything was in its place, I added some beads and microspheres in copper to give the final touches. I always let the project sit for some hours on the desk, just in case I want to improve it somehow. And this was the case: I decided to add a new focal point on the left bottom side of the layout using the same products and layering them.
