Capture – Layout by Veena Chowdhry

Hi Crafty People,
This is Veena and today I would like to share a layout that I have created using “Vintage Artistry Beached – 12×12 Collection Pack”.

I started by applying clear gesso on the “Vintage Artistry Beached – Uninhibited” from the “Vintage Artistry Beached – 12×12 Collection Pack”. I then took gate chipboard, painted it with brown impasto paint and then randomly embossed it with golden chunky embossing powder.

I added a photo to the gate chipboard and adhered it to the center of the paper. I used a cardboard piece in the back of it to add a dimension. I also added a wooden bridge laser-cut going to the gate to add interest.

I then added a laser-cut flower vine and glued it to the left top side of the gate. After that, I created a flower cluster using “Wildflowers – Ginger” and “Sugar Petals – Blue Raspberry” flowers. I added a few more laser-cut elements and “Vintage Artistry Beached – Ephemera Bits” elements to the end of the bridge and in between the flower layers.

I added a few elements from “Vintage Artistry Beached – Rub-On Transfers” to add more texture to the background. I also took some sand texture paste and applied to the bottom of the page.

To finish the layout, I added art stones, pearls  and “Vintage Artistry Beached – Wishing Bubbles and Trinkets” and a banner from “Vintage Artistry Beached – Ephemera Bits”.
