Hello Friends,
Today I’m up on 49 and Market blog with a new botanical album. When I saw Curators Botanical collection on the 49 and Market site, I decided to make an album and store dried flowers, summer photos and notes there. And I had Foundations 2″ Portrait that helped me a lot.

When I opened the box with paper the first thing, I saw was a huge yellow butterfly and so I made it a main character of the cover.

I primed a center with white gesso because I wanted to make it lighter than the edges. Moreover, I added some blue wax to the edges to make the center pop up.

Then I made some paper layers with Curators Botanical Ephemera Bits and Botanical Lazer Cut Elements. Finally, I added a square stitched frame from Vintage Artistry Essentials under the butterfly to draw more attention to it.

I always add some splashes to finish my projects and this time I cheated and instead of scary black splashes I used Botanical Rub-on Transfer Set. It’s very easy to use and the splashes are under control 😀
