Welcome and happy New Year to you!!
Tina Ollett with you here today to share my very first project for 2018……. enjoy !
It was a happy accident that I came across these two pieces of patterned papers in my collections. From different collections that got caught up together. When I saw them together I knew I was going to add blues……. a perfect combination of colours. So here is what I did.
So I tore the Passage Paper to sit over the middle of the background paper of Sea Creatures. I did a little sentencilling using a Dusty Attic stencil and texture paste. I then coloured my background with a little Inka Gold and watered it down again with more gesso to lighten it.
I created some photo mounting using Dusty Attic Chipboards. I surrounded these with two clusters of gorgeous gorgeous Floral Mixology 49andMarket blooms. They are listed below for you.
I have also added in one of my favourite things to do ……. fussy cutting! A few branches from the Heirloom Botancials Cut – Outs page.
And a little lace and some sequins were added.
I also added in some very pretty butterflies from the Butterfly Harvest 3D embellishment set and tucked them in and around the photo and flower clustering. They were highlighted using some Star Dust Stickles. Aren’t they just so darn cute?
Well that is all from me today. I will be back tomorrow with another project ……. something beachy!!
Thank you for taking the time to visit. I hope you get some time today to do something a little crafty.
