Believe – Layout by Marie Sabatier

I hope you’re doing well! We’re almost at the end of the year, as time flies… Here is my second-to-last layout of the year that I made with the collection «Vintage Artistry Peace & Joy». I really like this collection. I also know that it has been very successful, I hope you will have had the chance to have it. I chose this picture of my grandchildren taken last year.

With this photo I wanted to make a vintage layout. For this I chose these two fund papers «Holly Paper» and «Northpole Paper». I cut out the «Northpole Paper» that I tore and distressed on all sides to give an old look. I then glued it to the center of my page and added rub-on transfers from the same collection. The words I added come from the strip of the paper “Wishes Paper” that I kept (nothing gets lost in the scrap).

I then arranged the laser cut sheets «frames» which are in the pack of the collection 12 X 12 by raising them with cardboard to give relief and also by inserting ephemera bits and cardboard. I also slipped this holly crown which I cut in half to arrange it on both sides of the frames.

On the bottom of my photo, I made a cluster of flowers «Rustic Bouquet Cranberry» and branches of holly that are also in the pack of the collection 12 x 12, they are really beautiful all these laser cuts sheets of this collection.

To finish, I added some  «Wishing bubbles and trinkets» along with sequins and white gesso splatters.
