Hello everyone,
Here is my first inspiration for this month of August, for the third time in a row I have used the «SPECTRUM SHERBET» collection. I took this very recent picture of my grandson, Leo, with this smile that makes me melt every time. To match the best I chose the «Blum Moon» paper of the «Spectrum Sherbet Classics» pack.
I like the way Katie Pertiet uses Washi Tape and Rub-on Transfert and for this layout, I wanted to try it. I started with the left side of my layout. After placing my first tape of Washi Tape Roll I made the bottom of my photo by adding several layers of embellishments (cardstock, journaling, frame, tags, tickets) and a bit of thick cardboard.
Once my photo is placed I create a cluster with flowers «Royal Posies Ocean Jade» some «Sugar Posies Fluff», acetate sheets, and Laser Cut Elements always in the colors «Tidal Wave».
To break the bottom of my very generous paper in a flower pattern, I added bands of Washi Tape Roll by tearing them more or less and on top, I scratched Rub-ons Transfer from the set “6×8 Tidal Wave” flowers, journaling, word, stains, and stamps. The Washi Tape lets the paper flowers appear by transparency and it makes a nice mix. Some pretty butterflies and “Wishing Bubbles and Baubles”.
I added this close-up just for the pleasure of the eyes.
