I hope that you all are ok. Today it’s my turn to show you my first creation of August. I did a layout again with a photo of one of my sons, they are my models, and most of the time my inspiration. Here is my layout.
For this layout, I used lots of items from the Vintage Artistry Sky collection, papers, ephemera, and laser cuts. I’ll explain a little bit how I did it. as always I started with a layer of transparent gesso on the background paper. With a stencil and Icing paste Frost pearl, I gave a little relief here and there. Then I used another foliage stencil again with Icing paste but I mixed 2 colors, Antique gold, and pearl so that it wasn’t too dark. I put below the picture of the big die cuts from the Vintage Artistry Sky collection. On the chipboards, I simply embossed them with white embossing powder. I stamped flowers from the Wedded Bliss Stamp Set with Versamark on a piece of beige cardboard from the ephemera package which I then embossed with Embossing glaze Speckled Egg and Fossilized Amber, which I then cut out.
For the bouquets I used several kinds of flowers, I cut foliage from the 6×6 papers of the same collection, laser cuts, and jute cording. Then I put a little color on the background paper, I used Distress Oxide ink Speckled Egg, Liquid Acrylic Paint Umber mixed with a watercolor powder in Yellow Amber. I made drops here and there with the same ink colors and with white ink. And to finish, I put some Wishing Bubbles Minty Breeze.
