Hello beautiful people,
Today I want to explain the step-by-step of this layout, I have done it with a photograph of me where I was 25 years old.
1.- I have used two sheets from the Vintage Artistry Wedgewood 12 × 12 Collection Pack, one of the sheets was broken to create two layers leaving a gap where I had previously used for texture and pigments. As you can see I have inked all the edges of the paper trying to make it look like it is rusty.
2.-For the main composition with the collection laser cuts and Vintage Artistry Wedgewood Ephemera Stack I have created volume with the help of laminated cardboard.
3.- Once I have achieved the effect that I wanted, I have added flowers of many colors like the Enchanted Petals – Mint, the Flower Mini Series 01 – Ginger, and the Wildflowers – Cobalt.
4.- With one of the Vintage Artistry Wedgwood Ephemera Stack and Vintage Artistry Everyday Rub-Ons, I have put the title to my composition (beautiful moments).
5.- For the final finish and for a better integration of all the elements I have added moonstones, glitter, and with white gesso I have tried to create a more vintage effect, passing with a short hairbrush through all the flowers giving an effect more powdering.
6.- As you can see, I have created a small composition with the Ephemera and different flowers as in the main composition, thus creating a global balance of the project.
7.- Once the project is finished, I have added some touch to the background with Vintage Artistry Coral / Natural Rub-On Transfers – Expected back in stock 5/2. (I have to say that they are wonderful), I have also added some Wishing Bubbles – Crush, and as a final touch a splash with white gesso.
I have to say that this is a job that defines me a lot since I really like textures and oxide tones and with the contrast of the beautiful flowers of 49 and Market that have me completely in love.
