The entire “vintage artistry” collection charmed me, but “VA Sage” is my favorite color.
All items have a sophisticated shade of green that leaves any production with a touch of class. The botanical themes of die cuts combine with the artistic touch of the papers. In this work, I tried to harmonize all these elements giving a light rustic touch. The box holds a concertina-style album that has seven folds.
On the cover, I used a lot of volume and layers to enhance the resin frame shaker box. Die cuts and paper flowers decorate the composition. this album that is all folded cannot contain much volume, the papers were sewn and distressed at the edges and a stencil with spray tint was applied to unify the patterns.
I glued several die cut elements, washi tapes, ephemera, and pieces of papers on them, all finished with stamps and splats of gold and white ink!
