Christmas is nearing. It’s that time of the year when we all try to be more merry, more happy, find more joy in our lives and rejoice over little things as a cup of hot cocoa, or gorgeous twinkling Christmas lights, cold winter nights spend in the warmth of our living rooms with our dear ones, winter walks down the snowy Christmas streets,… Although it sometimes seems our world is becoming angry and sad and sometimes meaningless… Christmas it the time of hope. I hope you all find joy, peace and hope this Christmas season and in the year that is coming.
And today I prepared a lovely Vintage Christmas layout that tries to capture all of it. I hope I managed to.
I decided to use paper from Vintage Remnants collection as my background. I used lots of Laser Cut Shapes from the Vintage Remnants Frame Sets and arranged them around my vintage photo of a boy. I added some beautiful Dusty Attic chipboards and some 49 and Market chipboards from “Memory Captured” Archival Board and colored them with Rust Effect paste.
I also used some beautiful 49 and Market flowers and I added few bits and pieces from Winter’s Edge Laser Cut Sheet to add some Christmas magic touch. At the end I dry-brushed some elements with a bit of a white gesso and added some Micro beads here and there.
